Isabella's poppies
ANZAC day lockdown poem
By Adelle
It is only when i walk outside i feel sadness “ hardly anyone was awake
To celebrate ANZAC”
It is only when my dad plays the trombone i feel a pinch of happiness as
I sat down in the driveway.
It is only when i see two people walking toward us i then know how much
My street has changed.
It is only when I walk up a hill I hear the sound of trumpets playing in the
distance I realise some do care about ANZAC.
