Friday History - Egyptian Mummies

This week with the Year 5's we explored the history of the Egyptian mummies. We talked about their tombs and how honourable it was to be mummified.

We then worked in groups to wrap our very own mummies.

Dropping on innocent people's homes
Only leaving behind ugly ruins
Of the trauma.

Setting up hope for the future
Freedom and joy echo
