We have been writing to people who have inspired us, particularly in relation to our passion projects. Maddox sent an email to an Auckland artist, Craig Platt, who paints birds. He received a detailed email in return talking about Craig's childhood and the nature around Auckland that inspired him when he was young. He has even asked Maddox to send him a photo of some of his bird paintings and, in return, Craig will let Maddox see his new paintings before they go out to the public!
What an exciting response.
