Exploring Habitability

To begin our new term we have had some great discussions about habitability - what is needed for life to survive on a planet. Yesterday we decided that a planet would need fertile soil, a variety of temperatures, an atmosphere and gravity, light, moon/s, O2, H & CO2. Eventually we will design our own planets in a group, make these, as well as a rocket to get us there!

Today we watched a range of videos about Mars and the Curiosity Rover sent there by NASA.

It is so exciting to see and hear the curiosity and thinking skills developing in our class.
